LCOS CS WVGA Display Controller
General Description
The HX7812-A is a LCOS Color-Sequential(CS) panel controller. The HX7812-A supports MIPI, ITU, and 24-bits RGB input interface and converts frame rate from low input frame rate to high output frame rate (360Hz ~ 480Hz) for LCOS CS panel application. The supported MIPI interface includes DSI, DBI (type A, B, and C), and DPI. And the ITU interface supports 656 and 601.
Video characteristics including Key Stone Correction (KSC), Dynamic Exposure Adaption (DEA), Content Adaptive Brightness Control (CABC), and Digital Gamma LUT may be programmed using I2C serial interface or DBI interface. Moreover, the internal PLL using just single input clock generates all the clocks for whole chip usage.
The HX7812-A is suitable for any small portable battery-driven and long-term driving products, such as cellular phones and pocket projectors.
